Technologies
In present time the common territory of Orsha Linen Mill is 47 hectares. The enterprise includes 4 factories, consisting of 21 workshops and 122 production divisions. Orsha Linen Mill treats long and short flax fibers. Production capacity of Orsha Linen Mill is 49’400 spinners and 1130 weaving machines, including 842 STB weaving machines.
At finishing factory the new technological equipment is mounted: bleaching line by “Benninger”, Switzerland, which helps to achieve ecologically clear production with minimal expenses for chemicals and energy; dyeing machine – jigger “Ben Jig” by company “Benninger”, which helps to achieve rich gamma of colors for fabrics. In 2004 machine “EOLO” by “Zonco”, Italy, was mounted in finishing factory of Orsha Linen Mill.
In technological processes of fabrics production, preference is given to biodegradable stuffs, which don’t worsen hygienic characteristics of products and which don’t pollute environment.
To satisfy buyer’s demands, to enrich the assortment of products, to increase quality of products and to manufacture ecologically clear products, new technologies are developed:- finishing the fabrics to use for wall-covering, with loose structure, made from dry-spun yarns, with antibacterial and antistatic finishing.- finishing of fabrics with mechanical and chemical softening with use of softening stuffs based on polyurethanes.- hypochlorite free bleaching of fabrics.
